Conference - Postponed

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, KEMSA has opted to postpone the core conference to do our part for social distancing, as well as to prevent anyone getting exposed to an illness and carrying it back to a small/rural department (which could create a significant burden).

We are planning to reschedule this conference for the weekend of November 6-8, 2020 as we still want to provide the continuing education opportunity to the regions on the west side of Kansas.  We would love to have you join us that weekend at the same location.

We will be working with attendees on refunds or transferring the registration to the fall event. Watch your email for details if you are registered for this event.

Is your certification expiring this year? Do you still need certain categories to complete your re-certification?

In March 2020, KEMSA will be hosting the Spring 2020 CORE Conference in Dodge City, Kansas.

This is a 2.5 day educational conference from March 27-29, 2020 in Dodge City, KS for all levels of EMS professionals. This conference will provide 21 hours of EMS CE and will pertain to all levels of certification.

Note: Starting in 2020, the Kansas Board of EMS has adopted a new continuing education plan.  They have taken away sub-topics and added a pediatric component.  See the new continuing education plan hereThe new 21-hour schedule for this conference will satisfy all core component hours for EMT and EMR.  AEMT and paramedics will need to complete additional core component hours to re-certify.
