The Kansas EMS Association (KEMSA) and the Kansas State Firefighters Association (KSFFA) in conjunction with the Kansas Board of EMS (KSBEMS) is soliciting input on the proposed regulation of non-transport EMS agencies.
The KSBEMS currently has regulatory authority over EMS agencies that provide transport, the propose regulation would extend the oversight to include first response agencies. The goal is to ensure quality care is provided by all emergency medical response agencies. The proposed changes would be at the statutory and regulatory level. It is important to have feedback from all the agencies that will be impacted.
