Franklin County EMS - 40 Hour Paramedic

Kansas Paramedic Certification required. High School Diploma or GED required. Current & valid CPR/BLS provider certification, ACLS certification, Class C operator’s license are required. Two to three years related experience or training required. CPR certification required. May use equipment (based on competency level) such as but not limited to, defibrillator, electrocardiograph, performs endotracheal intubation to open airways and ventilate patient, inflate pneumatic anti-shock garment to improve patient's blood circulation.

Provide basic and advanced emergency medical care and transportation for critical and emergency patients that access the emergency medical system in a timely, professional and compassionate manner. Employee is expected to have acquired the necessary skills and knowledge to perform at an acceptable level within six months of being awarded the position.

Base Rate: $32,756 annually depending on qualifications
Date to Close: Sunday, October 8, 2017

Hours: Wednesdays & Fridays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sundays 24 hour shift starting at 8 a.m.  Overtime may be required.
