Thomas County EMS is currently looking for a full-time EMS Director.
Thomas County is seeking to fill the position of EMS Director, a non-exempt position under the FLSA. Three years of similar or related experience with Associates Degree (A.A.) from two-year College or technical school, certification as a Paramedic in Kansas and NIMS compliance required. The EMS Director would be under the administrative supervision of the County Commission and EMS Medical Director. The EMS Director has administrative and supervisory responsibilities for the overall direction, coordination, planning, and supervision of the service. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: interviewing, hiring, training, and supervision of full-time and volunteer employees and maintain ALS direction of service. Salary is negotiable.
