Osage County EMS (OCEMS) is accepting applications for FT and PT EMT, AEMT, and Paramedics. We offer progressive protocols, Flexible 24 hours shifts and starting January 1st, we will also be offering 12 hour shifts. Benefits include in-house education to meet recertification requirements, including CPR, ACLS, EPC, and PHTLS. A 401K plan (for FT and qualifying PT staff), Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Kansas medical/dental, holiday pay, paid vacation, and sick leave.  

Osage County is the largest county in Kansas without a hospital. Using our progressive protocols you have time to treat your patient for an extended period of time and make a difference in their outcome. OCEMS has been awarded the Mission Lifeline Award for cardiac and stroke care for the past three years. OCEMS operates five ambulances out of three stations providing 911 response to 17,000 citizens, covering 9 cities, 2 federal reservoirs, and 3 major highways.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a Kansas certified EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic, hold a valid Kansas driver's license, and pass background and reference checks. Currently certified in CPR, additionally AEMT and Paramedics are current in ACLS, EPC, and PHTLS or the ability to obtain those credentials within 6 months of employment.
