The Kansas Emergency Medical Services Association (KEMSA) hosts its annual EMS conference each fall. Mark your calendars for the 2021 KEMSA Conference & Expo, Aug. 12-15, 2021 at the Kansas Star Event Center in Mulvane, Kansas.

EMS professionals are normally the first responders to any medical condition, natural disaster or other emergency along with law enforcement and fire personnel. They risk their lives every day to provide public safety and rescue services for citizens in their areas and outside their areas in the case of natural disasters. This event gives EMS professionals an opportunity to learn new skills, keep their skills sharp, and network to learn new things.  All of this helps them better serve the citizens in their communities during a critical time in their lives.

EMS professionals, both volunteer and career, from all over Kansas and surrounding states attend the four-day event. National as well as regional speakers provide continuing education on various subjects throughout the conference.
