On May 10, LifeSave & the KEMSA Billing Society will be holding the second ever “Day In Our Life” workshop at LifeSave headquarters in Wichita.  This is a new, innovative, hands-on, scenario-based training intended to give billing staff and patient care providers insight into the challenges faced by each during a “typical” call. 

This year, we will be taking participants through a call from beginning to end, incorporating the helicopter and “mock” cockpits into the scenarios to allow participants to step into the pilot's shoes and the communications center to simulate the actual call intake process utilizing a brand new acuity software that will revolutionize triage.  The participants will also move through different trauma and medical scenarios, obtaining proper paperwork along the way.  The finale will entail preparing and coding a run report and claim form from a set of pre-selected codes.  Those claim forms will then be reviewed and a random sample will be chosen for a final review by a panel of representatives from the insurance community.

Space is limited for this hands-on, scenario-based training, so register early!

REGISTRATION:

All registrations will be taken online. You will have the option to pay with credit card or you will automatically be emailed an invoice that you can turn in for payment. All registration fees are due by May 3 to attend the training. Make sure to login for the member price.

If you need to register more than one person, just add a guest registration for each additional person you want to include. Then you will get one invoice for everyone.  Or if you are registering someone else, go to the registration form and substitute their information for your information that it fills in.

The registration and payment deadline is Friday, May 3 unless the training fills up first.

REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY:

No refunds will be issued for this workshop, but a substitution can be made. If you can't attend and can't send a substitute, your balance will still be owed.

HOTEL INFORMATION:

KEMSA has not reserved a hotel block for this workshop.  Rooms are the attendee's responsibility.
