EMS Service Director mentorship program

The KEMSA Administrator’s Society presents a new EMS Service Director Mentorship Program.  The KEMSA EMS Service Director Mentor program was designed to help newly appointed EMS Service Directors develop the skills needed to succeed in their new position.

How the Program Works:

New EMS Service Directors will be matched with a mentor with years of experience as an EMS Director. We have mentors with experience in all types of service structures such as volunteer, paid, county/city, hospital based, fire based, private, or any combination.

Our mentors will work with new directors in some of the following areas:

  • Organizational Skills
  • Budgeting
  • Conflict management
  • Goal Setting
  • Customer Service/Marketing
  • Record Keeping
  • Policy/Procedure/Protocol Development
  • Team Building
  • Human Resources
  • Purchasing
  • Decision making
  • Scheduling
  • Counseling
  • Community Involvement
  • Leadership

Our mentors can assist in other areas of EMS Management not listed in this brochure, and we will tailor the program specific to the needs of the new EMS Service Director.

Cost: $2,000
--one time fee or can be divided into payments

Cost Includes:

  • 9 month mentorship
