KEMSA will host a BLS Examination Preparation Workshop on April 11th in Colby, KS. This workshop will equip EMS educators with the knowledge and tools to prepare EMR and EMT students for success on the BLS Exam. Come learn best practices on student preparation from EMS Educators and Kansas Board of EMS Staff members.

Space is limited to 40 attendees.

Goals

• Stress the importance of a good quality BLS exam board prep to Kansas EMS educators.
• Show the advantages of a BLS exam prep for Kansas EMR and EMT students.
• Inform Kansas EMS educators what goes into making the state BLS exam scenarios.
• Share common causes of BLS exam failures with Kansas EMS educators.
• Help EMS educators identify their own shortfalls with course instruction or student prep through mock exam scenarios.
• Kansas EMS educators will be able to apply what is learned in this workshop in their own classes and improve BLS exam outcomes.
