The KEMSA Growth & Resilience for Kansas EMS Providers will be held October 7-9, 2022 in Wichita, Kansas.  

The KEMSA PEER Support Society is excited to bring in trainers from the Center for Suicide Awareness from Wisconsin to Kansas! This two and a half day workshop will be on the topic of Growth and Resilience for Kansas EMS Providers.  

Resilience training builds resilience and improves it in those that are already considered to be resilient. Even without an adverse event, the positive effects of this training are a win-win: it’s just a matter of degree. This training helps reshape one's thinking. It helps them to look at the world, yourselves, and events they experience in a different way. Emphasizing the positive and their strengths rather than their weaknesses.
